Serevent has dramatically improved my asthma as well as my nighttime stuffy nose. With this medication it is much easier for me to maintain my functions and keep active throughout the day. I have been using Serevent for almost 10 years. For me it is the greatest medication for asthma, and I have to tell you that I've tried dozens! It literally saved my life once when I was taken over by a sudden asthma attack. Serevent helped me regain control and breathe with no problems. Besides it gave me no side effects unlike other meds that I was on (migraines, dizziness, vomiting). I'm grateful for the drug.
I've used Serevent for about 9 years now. I think it is an excellent medication. However once in a while I experience some short term dizziness and tightness in my chest after taking Serevent. But this side effect usually goes away very quickly. To my mind the drug's main benefit is that it helps me control my asthma, I can sleep well throughout the night without rushing for my inhaler every few hours. During my daily routine, I use Serevent and it keeps my lungs loose and I can breathe like a healthy person. So, this drug is absolutely ok for me, both at night and in the daytime.
I have had asthma since I remember myself and I have to regularly change my bronchodilators because they become less and less effective as time passes by. But in case of Serevent the drug remains effective for more than three years no, I have no side effects and I see no reasons to switch to another med yet. Is it a temporary effect or have I found an ideal med for me?
